Bump City, Oregon is a wonderful place to live in the daytime when you can see things clearly. But, when the sun goes down and the shadows lengthen, things happen here that folks are hard pressed to explain -- scary things -- very scary things!
There's a local children's rhyme that goes, "Do what you will while in the light, but never go out in Bump in the night!"
Read just one book and you will quickly discover that this is a rule not a rhyme.
