Mari is finally pursuing her dream-a degree in criminal justice. But when her husband, Wes, becomes seriously ill, her careful plans and comfortable life begin to crumble around her. To further complicate matters, her chemistry professor begins stalking her after Mari unwittingly leads him on. His prank phone calls and intimidation tactics escalate until Mari follows and confronts him at a local park…where he is later found murdered.
