A revolution is brewing, as the term “diet” has rightly become a bad word. This is an earned concern, as many girls and boys, women and men are presently in the grasp of an eating disorder, its strangle-hold both debilitating and deadly. Mercifully, life-saving relief through a new, spiritual view of our ourselves and our relationship to food is finally at hand; a changed perspective that can, as it did for the author, successfully break the grip of this deadly monster and strip it of its seeming power. The trick is to learn to metaphysically “let go and let God” take control of your thoughts and outward experience. In short, the spiritual can dictate and transform the human experience—of even food.
Ann Red’s life dramatically changed as a result of this kind of enlightened thinking. Using a spiritual approach to find light where there was only darkness before, she found answers and lasting recovery. Whereas other seekers have unsuccessfully tried to write God out of the answers, Ann Red instead wrote out everything that was not God; this opened the conversation to: “Can you really think yourself thin?” and “If you align your thoughts with Principle, God, what will those changes look like in the human experience?” The simple answer is always the same: You perceive what you believe.
