Summer Ray - A Gettysburg Untold, is a spiritual book, an historical book, a romance novel, and a self help book, all rolled into one book. Between the front and back covers, are intricately woven a story, within a story. Most of the characters play themselves, and are cast with their real names. Of course, all gave me permission. I purposely did that to make Summer Ray as real as possible.
Summer Ray - A Gettysburg Untold, is set in her beloved Gettysburg PA. Maryland where she actually lives, is the backdrop. Her passion to help the Unknown soldiers, her love for Jennie Wade and Jack Skelly, her real life struggles with self esteem, sudden life changes due to a car accident, Traumatic Brain Injury, and her battle with evil, and her deep longing for love, brings this book to life.
Don't worry, for all you ghost people, there are plenty of demons, orbs, and ghosts running around. But, for all you spiritual people, there are also plenty of angels and references to God as well.
Last but not least, for all you historians, I can assure you, after several thousand hours of research, I have made sure Summer Ray - A Gettysburg Untold is both historically and demographically sound. The last thing I wanted to do, was to be incorrect in my research.
