An agnostic searching for God discovers a need for religion and a rational concept of God. Religion is a personal feeling as well as a system of community that works for most people. The finer points of religion are left to those who would debate these since these are irrelevant to most believers. Physical science and rational religion are not really in conflict. In many instances, religion is the glue that holds the community and society together.
