As we returned from the Lysefjord cruise Subsea 7's Seven Oceans was seen tied up in Stavanger harbour.
The Seven Oceans is a pipelay vessel with an advanced reeled pipelay system capable of rigid and flexible pipelay, in water depths up to 3000m. Build by Merwede in Rotterdam in 2007 it is, surprisingly (to me at least), registered in Douglas, Isle of Man.
